Bio

Picture

Daniele Nuccilli
My research interests are in early phenomenology, German contemporary philosophical tradition and narrative
theory. In the last few years, I have been working on the interconnection between knowledge and narrative, particularly exploring the work of German philosopher Wilhelm Schapp. Of the latter, I edited the Italian editions of the works In Geschichten verstrickt (Reti di storie - Mimesis 2017) and Beiträge zur Phänomenologie der Wahrnehmung (Contributi alla fenomenologia della percezione - Meltemi 2024). I am also the editor of the first
English collected volume on Schapp's philosophy, The Philosophy of Wilhelm Schapp (Bloomsbury 2024). In other recent publications, I have explored the thought of Schelling, Trendelenburg, Th. Lipps, Heidegger, Ajdukiewicz and Fellmann. I collaborate with different peer-reviewed journals, and I am a member of the advisory board of "Heidegger Studies".
